Glendale, Calif. (April 30, 2013) – SugarSync users now have a sweeter way to see and share the photos they have stored with the popular cloud storage and file syncing service. Those photos can be automatically added to NeroKwik Tapestries, photo collages that dynamically size photos based on personal rankings and social interactions.

“SugarSync offers massive storage capacity and makes it easy to sync and back up photos in the cloud,” said SugarSync Chief Executive Officer Mike Grossman. “Our millions of users can now add these photos to incredible NeroKwik photo Tapestries to share with their friends.” SugarSync is featuring NeroKwik in its App Showcase and will promote the free service to its millions of users.

NeroKwik provides a fast, consistent interface that makes it easy to see and share photos stored on various mobile devices, online social networks and cloud storage services.

Smart
NeroKwik is visual and touch-based. Photos are automatically arranged into Tapestries, which are like photo collages of differently sized photos. Tapestries help users quickly scan through potentially thousands of photos to find the ones they want without getting overwhelmed.

Users can rate their photos so their personal favorites are displayed larger in a Tapestry. In a social view, users can see quickly which photos were the most popular with their friends on Facebook and Google+.

Social
Tapestry photo collages can be shared with others in a variety of ways – they can be emailed, texted or posted to Facebook or Google+. Unlike static photo albums, Tapestries can continually evolve based on feedback and interaction from others. For example, when someone likes a photo in a shared Tapestry, the Tapestry is automatically reconfigured so the photo becomes larger.

Simple
NeroKwik automatically connects photos across users’ mobile devices and online social networks. It takes a matter of seconds to add photos from a new device or link an online service to a NeroKwik account.

New NeroKwik Features Include Customizable Photo Tapestries and Timeline Browsing

Glendale, Calif. (April 29, 2013) – The free NeroKwik mobile photo service now puts your entire photo library in your pocket without using up all of your mobile device’s local storage.

NeroKwik now has a new client for Intel-based Windows 8 devices and a light client for Windows 7/Vista. Now, users can access the photo libraries stored on their PCs and external hard drives from nearly any mobile device, including iPhones, iPads, Android Smartphones and Tablets. The new Windows clients will be available for free in the next few weeks.

Nero also announces the integration of the popular cloud storage service SugarSync with NeroKwik. Now, users can view and share their photos stored on SugarSync, in addition to Facebook and Google+, on their mobile devices.

NeroKwik is a fast, visual and touch-based mobile app that let’s users instantly access, view, and share photos stored on any smartphone or tablet, even those with incompatible operating systems.

“People are tired of syncing their smartphones and tablets with their PCs manually. They expect their mobile devices to give them full access and control over all their photos. They don’t want to care about where those photos are stored or which devices can access them,” said Nero Chief Product Office Martin Stein. “NeroKwik solves that problem and is the only mobile service that truly puts your entire photo library in your pocket.”

All the photos accessed through NeroKwik remain where they already are. Users don’t have to sync, upload, move or duplicate them manually in order to have all-the-time access to their entire collections.

New Custom Tapestries

One of the defining features of NeroKwik are Photo Tapestries, stunning and shareable photo collages. The new release of NeroKwik introduces custom Tapestries. With just a tap and drag, photos can be reordered and resized exactly how the user wants.

Timeline Browsing

A new, supercharged timeline update is the easiest and fastest way yet to browse through a large photo library on a mobile device. Newly captured photos, even those taken with other mobile devices, are added to the NeroKwik timeline automatically.

Performance Improvements

Performance improvements in the latest release of NeroKwik are substantial. Cataloging photos on a new device or online service for the first time happens up to 50 percent faster than with earlier versions. A vastly improved status indicator keeps users informed of how much time remains before all photos are cataloged.

Availability

It is free to use NeroKwik on two devices and all of the supported online services.

Consumers Have Trouble Finding Photos Across Devices and Online Services, Study Finds

NeroKwik photo sharing app solves the problem; now available for iPhone and iPad

Mobile World Congress, Barcelona, Spain (February 25, 2013) – More than six out of 10 consumers with photo collections on multiple devices or online services struggle to find, browse or sync their photos, a new study by the global multimedia software publisher Nero revealed.

The study found that 76 percent of consumers have 25 or more photos on multiple types of devices, such as smartphones, tablets and PCs. Fifty-two percent of consumers have uploaded photos to more than one online social network or cloud storage service, including Facebook, Google+/Picasa, Flickr, Instagram and Dropbox.
